Delivery TimesDelivery Times

When can I collect?
Yes by arrangement.  Please call to arrange or note after selecting day your preferred time to collect (usually between 12 and 4pm).  Delivery charge will be refunded.

When do you deliver nationwide?
Outside of peak season (July, August and December), we currently are limiting deliveries to Thursdays unless otherwise arranged.  Your delivery will remain chilled for 36 hours from leaving us at 4.30pm on the overnight service.  Your boxes can be delivered to work, a shady, dry place, to a neighbour or to you in person if you are home.

What about local deliveries?
Again to keep running costs low and protect the environment are main delivery day out of peak season is Wednesday.  Fridays are also available all year round by special arrangement on orders over £100.

* Other days or specific times by arrangement - urgent requests can usually be accommodated.  Please call to discuss urgent orders as on many occassions we can normally fulfill most orders of most products at next day dispatch.  We just try to limit the days suppliers need to deliver in order to keep costs low.

When is normal order deadlines?
Please order by 6 p.m. on Sunday evening
for all deliveries to take place the coming Wednesday or Thursday.  Order by Tuesday 7 pm for deliveries to take place on a Friday.

Must I be home?  No
Orders are always packaged in specially insulated chilled packaging which is guaranteed to keep produce chilled.  You don't even have to be in - it will stay cool until you return home - just leave a safe instructions as to where to leave your produce!  If you do require a signature please state in the final notes box so your box is not left safe for you to return from work.

What's the carbon footprint of nationwide deliveries?
The main selling point of our food is the quality.  The bonus is the very low food miles any shopping achieves due to the mass of producers locally; in fact our area has more quality food producers than anywhere else in the UK.   The food miles are so low that even when delivered anywhere in the UK, the overall carbon footprint will be much lower than nearly all shopping purchased anywhere else.  We even carbon offset our deliveries so we believe we offer you the lowest possible carbon footprint for your shopping from any other store or combination of shops in the mainland UK.   A zero carbon footprint and your weekly shop for less food miles than a bottle of wine is hard to beat.

Which areas are covered by national deliveries?
We deliver to England, Wales and Scotland with a few exceptions in the remote highlands, Jersey, Guernsey and Ireland unless surcharges are paid - please call for details.
